How can I use multiple instagram accounts on the same IP without getting action banned?
Posted by seohelper on May 26, 2020 at 12:27 pmI’m currently personally managing 4 insta accounts using the same IP address and IG constantly bans all 4 if I use actions across all accounts. I do not spam or do any excessive actions so I’m assuming it’s an issue of the IP address. Does anyone have the same issue? Do you think using a VPN is the answer or even separate devices? My accounts are pretty successful so the constant 1 week action bans are very annoying urgh

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 2:13 pmI manage about 7 and have never had any problems. I post through a scheduling app but regularly engage on different accounts and switch back and forth without issues.

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 5:02 pmI am having this issue as well managing 7 accounts. They recently made changes. I think it’s also about the speed of my engagement is getting me flagged as a using a third party app. It thinks I’m a bot but I’ve never had this problem before.

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 5:17 pmAre your accounts interacting with each other?
Your IP shouldn’t matter. It’s about what you are doing with the accounts.

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 5:22 pmI have 4 I regularly use from the same device without any issue; I wouldn’t see why it would be a problem for ig since it does let you log in with multiple accounts

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 5:56 pmYou might want to consider setting up a business manager account on business.facebook.com
I setup as a media agency. And I can have clients as partners. Then I can manage there Page and or Instagram account.
Can do (already doing) dozens and dozens at a time from one IP.
Then you get access to creator studio from facebook for IG management posts, etc.. -

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 6:59 pmRun it through facebook / instagram website. Different Chrome profiles or incognito mode would work. Or use a scheduling service like buffer or later.
On your phone, if you’re running Android get an app cloner. I have two copies of Instagram on my phone with two accounts on each, never have any issues. Might have same thing in iPhone but no idea.
If its an IP ban maybe a VPN would help to change your ip?
Change them to business accounts will give you more access to the tools to plan ahead and comment etc. -

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 7:36 pmClear your cache from your app. I once got banned from every account I manage on Instagram and I had more than 7. That, or also check if Instagram is down in your area. Oddly it affects this too. I use downdetector.ca

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 7:54 pmWe use a lot from one IP and multiple devices. It does sign out occasionally which is annoying. Hootsuite is helpful.

GuestMay 26, 2020 at 9:50 pmWow, i’ve never heard of this. Ig literally has a feature that allows you to switch from one account to another so it sucks that they’re doing this to you. I have 3 accounts, they interact with each other and I’ve never received a ban.
My advice and I’m just guessing, is to use a scheduler like Metricool (i swear I’m not being paid to say this) to schedule your posts. Metricool is nice because it also allows you to check your DMs through the app.
Otherwise you might want to use NordVPN and access the accounts through incognito. But that would be a huge pain. If you have an iPhone, ipad and laptop then it sounds like you already have three devices. So i suppose different devices for the accounts, Amazon sells cheap smartphones for 60usd and i can usually find used phones even cheaper on facebook

GuestMay 27, 2020 at 8:58 amI doubt IP is the problem since Insta allows you to natively use multiple accounts with the same login.
I an currently managing 4 accounts with no problems.
