How can I do Amazon PPC?

Posted by seohelper on April 22, 2020 at 9:42 am

    [SellerSprite](https://www.sellersprite.com/en) Sharing.

When advertising, the seller’s best expectation is that the ad can target potential customers, and it would be better if the ad could appear under similar products. Recently, Amazon updated a series of functions, including a new product promotion function-“Product Targeting”, which allows sellers to place ads on a specific ASIN, that is, you have the opportunity to target competitors.

    ?

But many people assess that it is a waste of money and can not bring any benefits. While the issues we are discussing today are:

    * Is there a problem with your placing method?
    * How to place ads? What strategy?

This function has been partially released since last November. I believe that almost all sellers can see this function in the Seller Central now. If you could see the image below, it means that your account already has this permission.

    ?

What is the right way to place the ad?

Firstly, you need to find out the relevant big keywords through SellerSprite in this order: the biggest word, the biggest long-tail word, and the precise word (the most relevant word of our product). Then put these words into the search box on Amazon, and do an Excel spreadsheet of each selected word.

[take “garlic press” as an example]

Garlic press (the biggest word) [General large volume keyword]

Garlic press stainless steel (the biggest long-tail word) [Mid long-tail broad keyword]

Garlic press with built-in cleaner (the precise word) [Exact keyword that closely describes and related to your product]

<1> Enter the above three keywords into the search box on Amazon, and find out all ASINs that show on the first and second pages. As shown below:

    ?

You can filter repeated ASINs by using [Duplicate Value] in excel, especially the [biggest word + biggest long-tail word]; Then delete these repeated ASINs from the [biggest long-tail word], and keep them in the [biggest word]; Next, continue to add ASINs that appear on the second or third page to the [biggest long-tail word]. About 25 ASINs per column is enough.

The next step is to create a campaign.

    ?

We are going to create three different campaigns.

    ?

Then click “Continue”. In order to distinguish them clearly, you can give different names to each campaign.

    ?

The content pointed by the arrow should be kept in mind. I usually enter 10$ for “Daily Budget”.

Then find the “Individual Product -Enter List”. As shown below:

    ?

You can fill in all ASINs on the excel spreadsheet of [the biggest word].

For bid (bidding), you can choose the “suggested bid”, then click “complete”.

    ?

    ?

Another two campaigns are the same as this one, but you need to check the performance of these campaigns and track the data every week.

If some of these ASINs do not bring any exposure after a week, you can give up without hesitation. If some ASINs bring exposure but do not have conversions, you can increase the bidding by 5%[original bidding*5%+ original Bidding]. If a few ASINs bring conversions, then please continue to add 10% on the bidding[Original bidding*10%+ original Bidding].

Why? When your ads appear, your competitor will also notice this position, and compete with you. Try not to lose this position, because you are not the first one to advertise.

Please remember: the premise that your product can be sold is that your product can be displayed to customers. Shoppers need to see your product first before deciding whether to buy.
