GuestJanuary 2, 2023 at 10:04 amHello, I run a Google Ads agency that works with a lot of healthcare clients, so I have dealt with this a few times.
First of all, don’t panic. You will be able to fix this, it might take a week or two but you will be fine. Breathe and relax. It will be fine.
Secondly, don’t hire ‘few freelancers’. Multiple people working on one problem will only make things worse. If your car broke you wouldn’t hire multiple mechanics to work on it at once, it would be a disaster.
I would recommend you find an agency partner to help you resolve this and avoid such issues in the future. Agencies often have a dedicated Google representative assigned to them that can help escalate and resolve such issues.
However even if you don’t work with an agency, someone smart and experienced should be able to help you fix this. From what you have written, I suspect maybe you are using WordPress and it has been infected with malware. Google picked this up and that’s why you have the malicious software warning.
Maybe this isn’t the cause, it’s just my first guess. It would take time to look at the website, look at the ad account, speak with Google, to find out exactly what is up.
Finally, I would suggest to always have multiple marketing channels so you are not solely reliant on Google Ads. You’d be surprised how well: Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, SEO etc can work for medical businesses. Of course the rules are very strict, but they can all work and drive a large number of leads.
Good luck. Don’t worry. This kind of issue happens all the time and it is fixable.
