HELP! Google Ads Calls From Website Conversion Tag Not Working
Total PPC rookie here.
As title suggests, I am trying to record conversions from inbound (lead) calls made by customers originating from phone number listed on Wix hosted website. Without these I am flying blind.
I installed Google Tag Manager, installed standard Google Ads Calls from Website Conversion Tag, installed Conversion Linker tag. Both tags are firing correctly per GTM Preview mode and confirmed by GTM Assistant chrome extension.
I have a very expensive way to test if everything is working. I enter my search query, I find my ad, I click the ad, I see that Google does find/replace my business phone number with a dynamic Google call forwarding number (which should be a good indicator that tags fired correctly), I click the phone number.
But when I keep refreshing my Google Ads dashboard IT. JUST. SHOWS. A. STUPID. ZERO for conversions. I have tried at least 10 times and paid for my own clicks (yes I know and I deserve your mocks!). It keeps saying no recent conversions. This has been going on for the last 8 hours. Should I wait longer for the data to come through? I feel frustrate because clicks and impressions are getting updated but not the Conversions. I have tried multiple times with two separate mobile devices and with Chrome and Safari.
