Hashtag Tool (generator and ranker app)
Hello all!
Based on positive feedback from my post here on [r/socialmedia](https://www.reddit.com/r/socialmedia/) about making a TikTok helper app, I wanted to proceed with gathering a little information from those who were interested so I may make some design decisions.
I was thinking hard about this last night about how I would score the hashtag’s popularity after it’s generated and I think I have a working solution for that. After I create something I need it beta tested, so there’s an optional field at the end for you to submit the email that’s tied to your device.
My philosophy is this: all products should be created with as much user-interaction as possible.
I made a really short poll to kick this off (in the comments). I understand rule #8 states ‘no posting surveys’, so if the mods think this post is out-of-line, please remove it.

A little more about me: I made a iOS app called Wordicle that asked the user for a topic and then generated a full set of headbands/charades cards. I took it down late-2019 because it wasn’t doing so well. I failed to market it effectively, though the idea was novel and it satisfied my family’s needs to play games of charades with a massive set of cards. I’m going to use a similar method to generate related hashtags, then run a separate process that will rank them based on virality/popularity.
