I have a instagram page that I currently post weed videos of all types from memes, News, cooking recipes, and photography. Instagram does not like posts about this and even though I don't recommend smoking or sell anything they still won't share my content to non follows which sucks big time. I'm not into the whole buying followers as I want my posts to be active. What would you do and how would you grow something like this? The only options I've came up with are follow for follow and paying to be posted on bigger accounts. I know Instagram has their own way of boosting reels but not sure how worth it that really is.

Get the basics right first then you can narrow down why you aren’t going viral. Good engaging content that people haven’t seen before. Without using words that will be filtered by Instagram. I’ve seen plenty of people advertising weed on there with no problems you must be triggering the detection system. If you want to know more just dm me.

I’ve worked with accounts in similar restricted niches, and I understand how frustrating it can be when Instagram limits your reach. From my experience, the key is finding ways to avoid triggering Instagram’s content detection without compromising your niche.

    1. **Content Strategy**: You could experiment with a softer approach in your captions and tags. Avoid words or phrases that Instagram might flag, and instead, try using creative slang or symbols that your audience will understand, but won’t raise red flags.
    2. **Diversify Platforms**: While Instagram is great, it might help to build your audience on other platforms like TikTok, Twitter, or YouTube, which may be more lenient with your content.
    3. **Engagement**: Engage authentically with your audience. Respond to comments, collaborate with similar niche pages, and join relevant conversations. This can help build organic growth without relying on follow-for-follow methods.
    4. **Hashtags & Trends**: Use niche-specific hashtags carefully. Avoid overly popular ones and focus on relevant, less saturated ones. Also, hopping on viral trends in a creative way can boost your visibility.
    5. **Video Quality**: When posting Reels or videos, ensure high-quality production. Instagram’s algorithm often favors well-produced, engaging videos over others.

    Hope this helps!
