Google Shopping Promotion Through Merchant Center
Has anyone used the promotion feature in GMC? How have you found performance? Working with a slightly newer feed so we’re not going to be triggering the sale badge annotation in shopping campaigns and support said this was a great alternative.

Have used merchant promotion for a while for some clients. But mostly with a promotion code. Performance was not that great. Try to find a product in the search results with. Promotion and you will see why: there is no “promotion” badge, like for sale or price drop. It is just a extra line in the ad.
You can try it. But I would not count on a lot of traffic from it.

GMC Promotions or using Promotion attribute in the feed works as intended, which is to let people know about your promo. How well it works comes down to well good of a promotion you are running.
