Google Shopping / Pmax for WordPress

Posted by stationerygeek2 on January 31, 2023 at 9:57 am

Can anyone recommend the best way to run Shopping (or Pmax now) from a WordPress site?

I have a client who use WordPress and they’re currently using a plugin called Product Feed Elite. I’ve never used it before so wondering if there are capabilities for Feed optimisation, or if another method of submitting a feed is better for WordPress sites.

    Is it a Woocommerce site?

I’ve been using CTX Feed Pro plugin for a couple of years and it’s been working really well.

I did use Channable and GoDataFeed for a while, but found the relatively high monthly cost wasn’t worth it for me as i wasn’t even using all the more advanced features.

With CTX Feed I have it setup so that my product titles/descriptions are mapped to my Yoast SEO product titles/descriptions.
I just pay yearly for for CTX Feed Pro which works out much cheaper than the other feed optimisation tools, but it really depends on what you need.

If you mean [Product Feed Pro](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/), which we have used in the past with WooCommerce clients. It works. You can also look at using a supplemental feed along side the Product Feed Pro plugin.

If the client does not have a huge feed, build a shopping feed in Google sheets is the easier options from a customization POV.

Pmax is hot garbage and is not the only way to run shopping.
