Google Shopping Picture Quality Issue
Hello,
When viewing my Google shopping product image preview / Merchant center preview the image quality looks horrible. The image is very grainy and pixelated.
Although, the image submitted to Google that was crawled, is near perfect quality. I understand Google compresses these images but is it normal to have a significant quality drop (example attached)?
Is there anything you can do to combat this? Google doesn’t appear to have a recommended size for product images.

You need to upload a higher resolution image than the one you are showing here. When it’s being scaled down there is not enough info in the current image.
