Google Shopping Ad: Standard Shopping or Performance Max?
I just want a basic one to make the most sales for $1000 worth.
I dont really want the video ads or to advertise on the Google Network, I just wanted shopping ads or maybe google search ad to show when people are looking to search for cleaning products.
However, Google is recommending to do Performance Max, is this worth or safer to stick with standard?

Just run a standard shopping campaign and search campaigns then. Google recommends PMax to everyone regardless of how much a brand is spending.

Google does nothing but recommend you spend more money on generating less revenue…
They don’t know your business, your products, your customers etc. They are not in a position to recommend anything… just as the low level dipshits from Google who try to get you on the phone once a week know nothing about your business and are just calling you to push Googles latest thing… with zero concern for what it might do to an account that’s already performing very well.
