Google Search Console – Validation time?
I requested validation back in October for my new website but nothing has changed in that time. Is it normal for Google to take 5/6 weeks for validation?
This is a completely brand new site that I have been playing around with and just wanted to know if there is anything I can do to speed this up. I have used live test and the pages are all fine – I am using wix if that makes a difference?

When you say validation, are you seeing the GSC message saying “Processing data, please check again in a day or so”
Or do you not see anything for GSC?
If it’s the former, you just need to be patient especially if it’s a new site. Google won’t share any data if it can’t be anonymized. They do not want you to be able to tie any click to a specific user.
If it’s the latter, my guess is you didn’t do ownership verification correctly. If the steps are followed correctly Google will bring you to your GSC account with or without data.
