    Google search ads

Posted by Known_Obligation7762 on July 1, 2024 at 4:25 pm

I have a business which I'm promoting on google ads. I am doing everything on my own and so far the ads seem okay. I am doing search campaign and goal is to maximise clicks. My cost per click is about 0.3 euros. I have daily budget of 80 euros and ctr is 7%. My question is what is the best way to improve my impression share which is 11% and my Top of the page rate which is 89% and absolute top of the page rate which is 26%. Ads from my competitors in most cases show above mine. Any advice would be helpful.

Check the metrics for “Search lost IS (rank)” and “Search lost IS (budget)”.

If the former is high, you’ve got a bidding/quality score problem. If the latter is high, your competitors just have more budget and are able to continue running after you’ve exhausted your daily budget.

Based on that data though, it seems like you’re showing up for quality traffic and doing the right things. Make sure you continue to audit search terms and add negatives frequently.
