I have a service business and the physical address is just for bookkeeping and admin stuff. There no signage, it’s not meant for the public, and it won’t pass Googles video verification. What do I do? I’m responsible for the business’ SEO and this almost puts us a standstill. Please help!

Do you work in a service area? If you don’t have a physical place where customers can go you still have to put an address (that you can “Hide” if you you work in a service area rather than a specific address) and get verified.

Selecting service area business will only consider the service area, not the specific physical address used in the verification.

    Ok.

Anyway I said that you don’t need to show an actual business address but you can also show something remotely close to your service (stock for sale, branded stuff, sometimes even a cash register can get you verified according to the Google support community).

I’ve sent a link to Google community that you can find searching for “verify your business on Google” and going down in the “video” section when it lists some things that can give the verified status for your listing.
