Google / Facebook Ad Account when moving to a different country?

Posted by Low_Purple_1894 on August 24, 2023 at 11:57 pm

I’m a business owner and I moved from Canada to France recently. My Google and Facebook ad accounts were created in Canada so the invoices are to Canada, in CAD and no VAT. It looks like there is no way to change this unless I created a new ad account and start from 0! (I will lose ALL my ads, Social proof and customer interactions). My accountant says I need invoices to be billed to France which makes sense but creating a brand new account, stopping all my current ads and starting from 0 is very risky as I could lose everything. I am stuck and I do not know what to do! Any idea of what could be done? I really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

The only way to change currency is making a new Facebook ad account. You can always attached your current Meta pixel to the new ad account.

With Google, same story. You will need to make a new ad account if you want to be billed in a different currency.
