    Google Ads Verification Issues

Posted by 5starcruises on September 17, 2024 at 10:15 pm

Hi everyone. I have been trying to get my Google Advertiser Verification complete but are having issues. Google has told me what the issues are but I have no idea what to do to recify it. I am hoping that someone has some knowledge on what to do next.

    • Failure reason, please see details below:
      • Billing Profile Mismatch: Please be advise to review the question: “Which of the following best reflects your use of Ads and ensure that the information provided in the BOV Form”, ensure their Documentation, and the information within the CID are in alignment. The name the advertiser declares in the BOV form, the related documentation provided, and their Google Ads account billing profile should all reflect the same matching information.
      • Documentation, Vertical Specific Licensing: Based on the advertiser's region and vertical additional documentation is required. Please advise them to provide all requested documentation in their appeal, this includes vertical specific licenses or certifications
      • The detailed failure reasons should have been emailed to you, along with guidance on how to fix them.

The billing profile is mine which is at the same address as my business so I am not sure what the issue is there.

The Vertical Specific Licensing is something I have no idea about. I am an online entertainment agency in Australia and have been for well over ten years and I don't require any license in any shape or form.

Any advise will be very gratefully received.

    Thanks

    Danny

    Hey Danny,

For the billing profile mismatch, make sure the business name, address, and all other things match your business documents exactly. Google is picky about this. Changing your billing profile isn’t too difficult if you have admin access.

I think we’d have to know more about the vertical you operate within to help here but sounds like Google thinks you need a license to operate your business. Google support is your best bet if you think that a license is not necessary, but I would not wish dealing with Google Support on my worst enemy,

DM me if you have more details or if I can help further.
