Google Ads stopped serving for no reason??

Chiropractor clinic … we were disapproved for “health in personalized advertising” despite Google support saying the ads were compliant in the weeks before.

The disapproval hits our account for a day and then it was gone (nothing Google support “fixed”). One month later … The ads still haven’t been serving now despite being enabled and live.

I increased the budget to see if it was budget limitation but still no serving. I created a responsive search and display campaign and still nothing (all while keeping the original campaign enabled).

It’s been like this for a month. Google support just gave me the rundown saying don’t make too many changes, wait 3 weeks, change from maximize conversions to maximize clicks (which I don’t want to bc I want to focus on leads).

I’m at a loss at what to do right now. Make a new ad account? Make more changes and wait up to 3 weeks to see if something happens? Client is not happy we haven’t been serving ads.

Make small changes to the ads, like one character, then reupload them.

I’d also make other versions that don’t mention whatever phrases are triggering the ban.

Option 1: If your impression share lost due to rank is more than 90%, your ads won’t serve. Work on making your ad/landing page copy, landing page title and URL, relevant to your keywords. Get your QS up.

Option 2: If ‘impression share lost’ isn’t an issue, switch to maximize clicks and the ads should start serving within a day (it won’t take 3 weeks). You can change back to max conversions once you’ve a sufficient volume of leads flowing in.

I’d be against creating a new ad account since you’d have to work without data and max conversion bidding won’t perform efficiently anyway. Your ads could get flagged again as well.

Let me know how it goes.

A few things. How is your payment method. Also switch to max clicks and move everything to broad case type. Your trying to get a heartbeat and give CPR. Once you have some momentum, then incorporate phrase and exact.

Last check your ads, I wonder if they are poor-rated.

Health in personalized advertising only affects remarketing ads. Your ads should still serve to others that are targeted, e.g. if your search campaign includes website visitor audiences as observation, those won’t serve but all other users should see the ads triggered by normal search queries.

But if this is a dedicated remarketing campaign there is no way to run that. You should try running that in Meta Ads or a dedicate remarketing platform such as AdRoll.

Google’s real strict with health advertising rules and sometimes inconsistent

Switching to a new ad account can help instead of waiting longer
