Google Ads Maximize clicks will serve ads to the same IP in a row, or not?

    Hello experts,

I did search, didn’t find an answer.
I have a question: for Google Ads, the Maximize clicks will show ads to the same IP in a cascade style, even if that IP did click once?
Context: my competitor hits me with a lot of fake clicks in a row, like 2 clicks per minute and so on… (no, Google “catches” only 20% of the fake clicks)
If I use Maximize clicks at least a single IP will not see my add so frequently (like few seconds/minutes between viewings)?
I do use Maximize clicks and for now, the fake cascading clicks in a very short time did not hit me, but maybe is just a coincidence.
I know that max clicks brings junk, but we have a high conversion rate.
I do confirm that it shows the ad to the same IP, but at a distance of 15-30 minutes between the clicks.

Anybody has any clue about this scenario?
    Many thanks!

Maximize Clicks isn’t audience-based, it’s a keywords-based strategy. It tries to get as many clicks by optimizing for the placement that is cheapest, within the daily budget, and gets the most clicks. So yes, same IP can see the same Maximize Clicks ads. Assuming that’s what you were wondering.
