Former Client Posting to my Private Facebook stories? How?
Hi guys! I run into a very peculiar situation. Firstly, I want to mention that I now removed myself as the moderator of the page now and changed my password.

Yesterday I woke up with text messages from family asking me where I went for brunch. I was so confused and then they forwarded me stories that were posted to my Facebook. I instantly realized it was one of my former client’s promos about his restaurant. I deleted them and moved on. I woke up again in the morning today and yet again, the same situation, however this time he even posted a selfie with some weird girls. I use Facebook only for business stuff and share very minimal private information, so this was quite embarrassing for me. Has anyone ever experienced something similar? I’m guessing it will stop now that I am unlinked, but I genuinely want to know how this works to avoid it in the future.

Did you also log out from all devices once and added 2 factor authentication?

If their ig account is linked to your personal meta account it may be set up when they share stories it automatically goes to your personal story.
You need to disconnect their ig from your meta account. If you Google that they have a good guide on how to get this done.

This literally just happened to me – where the IG stories post to the business account, but the FB ones go to my story.
Unfortunately, the only way I found it to have the person posting the content change it. I disconnected my accounts and it kept happening, so I had to reach out to them.
