For those that were hit by the google core update, does your new content rank?
I am referring to sites that are down 90%. I’ve heard mixed things about ranking new content. Thanks.

Does your definition include “niches where some sites are hit by the Core Update/HCU and others aren’t”?
If yes, then are we talking affiliate or real business?
Context is everything when it comes to these questions. Every space is hit differently by HCUs and Core Updates. From what I’ve seen, Google applies a different set of rules to affiliate than it does to local and national businesses.
