    First time search campaign

Posted by Valuable_Status_5026 on October 9, 2024 at 5:41 pm

Hello, I am publishing my first google PPC search campaign today.

I’ve read online that many experts seem to prefer to set bidding to manual CPC for new campaigns with tight budgets (me). I’ve also read that google gives worse audience segments to those using manual.

The campaign is for an agency , So my desire is to optimize lead form submissions.

If you’ve been running ads for a while, please share suggestions! TIA

I personally see accounts perform really poor on max CPC even if they have been on that strategy for a long time providing a ton of results. I would just start on max clicks, gather negatives, get conversions, then switch to tROAS or tCPA.

Manual CPC is dead. Start with maximize clicks until you get some consistency, then switch to Max conversions until you get some consistency, then set a target CPA.
