Fake google reviews from a competitor
Hey guys,
Off topic, but it really disturbs me and harms my business’s reputation. 3 days ago we started getting fake 1* reviews on google maps from people who never purchased any of our products. All these profiles has only 1 review and never reviewed any other businesses.
Do you have any idea what can I do to delete these fake feedbacks? I obviously reported all of them, but only 1 had been removed.
Would you even answer to these fake reviews?

This is very easy to solve actually.
1. go to google search for their “Google Review tool”
2. just log in there with your company account and select the reviews you want to delete
3. Google will ask you for a reason just give in ” never was at our business” or something like that.
4. Now wait until Google reviews this you will get an email and even if they do not want to delete some of the reviews you can dispute with them about that.
5. if nothing really helps last thing to do just hire a small lawyer and let him send them a letter stating the same ” this individual never interacted with our business if so google should provide the email or private details”
6. 99 percent of time after the 5.Step no body really actually cares about the review so google will remove that
i was myself having some problems with that that’s wy i googled a little.

Block the location. If you have information about their locations so, you can block that location

Contact Google directly and report spam, so you have any proof it’s from a competitior. Don’t make accusations you cant backup as it could damage your chances of removing the reviews
