I've built a strong personal brand as a tech community builder with 3k LinkedIn followers for my contribution to the local tech community for past 3 years. As a result

    • My career/community posts consistently get high engagement (100+ reactions, 5-6k impressions).
    • e-commerce or business related posts struggle to get traction (5-10 reactions). I've tried various content formats (videos, images, text) but the results are consistent.
    • Audience analysis suggests my followers are primarily career-oriented or students, not B2B decision-makers.

I've srartrd a B2B startup focused on e-commerce (virtual try-ons, 3D product visualization since 3 months. While I'm eager to share my work and build a B2B audience, my content is struggling to gain traction.

    What I need help with:

How can I effectively leverage my LinkedIn profile to create a personal brand on my business niche and reach a B2B audience?? I am struggling with the planning. Plz share any suggestion.

Share valuable B2B content and success stories related to your startup on LinkedIn and engage with industry groups and influencers to reach your target audience. Consistency and relevance will help you build a strong presence….

Find the people who are your customers and connect with them. You can add up to 150 contacts a week without restrictions. Don’t over think the connections, as long as they are in your space using keywords and titles. Request them WITHOUT a note ( Unless they are like a CEO), and then when they accept. Thank them work accepting your connection, and start engaging and listening to their content. People are more reluctant to accept if there is a whole spiel. I have built my LI to 12k followers this way and get leads from my network who are just connected but referred me.

    – content needs to be consistent. 3 x a week min. with the goal of creating connection and adding value. How? these three pillars something that givea niche Insight, builds your credibility, Personal content. it needs to resonate, dont overthink it. It can be something you’ve noticd, tips etc. Dont worry about like, impressions are better indicators of what your network like.

    – Focus on your buyers pain point and create the content they would need or want them be interested in. Basic I know, but missed by so many.
