  • Facebook verifying my account

Hey guys so this morning I’ve tried jumping on Facebook and it’s saying I need to verify my account. I’ve sent through a picture of myself like it asked and all it says is:

“Thank you for sending your information. We have fewer people available to review information due to coronavirus. This means we may be unable to review your account”

Is there anything I can do to get back my account? I’ve had it for years and now all of a sudden this happens and I have no idea who I can contact to speed this up.

I had this happened to me before and I also sent a picture of myself. After a few days, I tried to log into my account and it said something like ‘your account is taken down because you violated our terms’ although I didn’t even do anything wrong. I don’t know what happened, but I permanently lost that account. So yeah, just wait and see if you can get your account back :’/

There’s nothing much you can do just wait, there are publishers who are not being able to appeal for months and earning ZERO during these hard times.

This same thing literally happened to me last month. I had my Fb name my first name only. No last name. They didn’t like that so they made me verify my name with picture ID’s. It took approximately 8 days for them to give me my account back, they changed my account name to my full name shown on my ID.

This same thing happened to me yesterday. I have lost access to my personal account of 10+ years.

I think the reason was because I uploaded the same (short) video to 3 separate group forums where I had similar discussions going — it so happens that one of our cats escaped, and the video was of one of them I’d caught on a security camera.

There is however nothing that suggests I shouldn’t be able to do that.

Now I am screwed, and according to my wife the posting itself was removed. That’s unfortunate because it means we could be missing important information from our neighbors about the whereabouts of our lost pet. 🙁
