Facebook Ads : Let’s say you have a brand new Ad account with a small number of followers

And, you want to get purchases on your digital product.

    How would you start ?

This is pretty much my situation here. I’m selling a digital product for around $16.

I launched a Purchase campaign. No sale. Just one Add To Cart event.

I’m familiar with Facebook as I launch campaigns for my clients, they do fine. Maybe I am not used to work on my own product OR digital products for the matter.

How would you start ? Would you start by purchase campaigns like I did and test stuff around ?

Again, I don’t have a lot of social proof. Around 0 follower on Facebook and 500 on instagram.

Don’t sell stuff worth $16. Create something that solves a bigger problem with a lot more value, and charge $1,600 for it. Give the $16 thing away as a lead magnet, which is what you’ll run your ads to.

You’ll go broke trying to sell $16 products.

    Social proof is key.

Find some interested people from your instagram to gift them your product for reviews.

Optimise your landing page and then get some traffic into it.

In the long run you switch fro TOF to BOF campaigns.

I’ve had multiple accounts like this and it’s pretty hard to get a good ROAS on a low value product so either gift it for leads and go for something bigger or try to increase the value and price of your product.
