  Does using native text on Instagram have an impact on SEO?

  I’ve been seeing reels of people who claim that you can add keywords on Instagram reels and then hide the text off screen to boost your SEO on Instagram. Is this true? And if so, would it imply that adding text on another editing software like Canva would not be as beneficial as adding text directly on the reel’s editor?

  I think the algorithm looks at the text you provide in your captions and hashtags. Adding keywords directly in the reel editor might not have a significant impact on SEO. I haven’t seen any concrete evidence about that.
