  • Does anyone know a workaround when dealing with Meta?

I’ve had a meeting booked with the advertising specialists to maximise the spend for multiple campaigns. This is the sixth time they’ve rescheduled and I still haven’t spoken to anyone. Does anyone know how to get through to a human?

Spend more money and they’ll make time. That’s it.

We’ve had the exact same problem with Meta. They’ve cancelled at least a half dozen scheduled calls and probably missed another 3-4.

Ever since Apple halted tracking and they altered their algorithm again to accommodate it, our Meta ad spend had been proving increasingly worthless. Ultimately, we got to a point where we were losing so much that we outright turned them off. Our calls had been scheduled to address a strategy to rectify that problem, but Meta apparently just don’t want our money again.

Meta was always a disaster to get in touch with. When things were going well people overlooked it. The company is on a terrible downward spiral.

I put in a request through ads manager help center, they require and email and phone number in case you get disconnected. Then i’ll exit out of the browser once i’ve submitted my ticket and they will contact me through phone or email which works pretty great

They only prioritize talking to brands with $5M+ annual spend. Beyond that, it’s pretty much a self serve platform

Google something like “Meta live chat” and there’s a link to start a conversation with a real person who will then call you. It’s not easy to find and I can only find by Googling

Be one of the 5 people hanging out virtually in the Metaverse and maybe you will encounter Mark. Not sure if he counts as a real person though.

In both my personal experience and the experience of people I know who run much larger ad spends then I do, you’re only missing a bunch of random advice that doesn’t help your account from their “specialists.”

It doesn’t make sense because you would think they’d want your account to do better so you keep spending and pay more but I’ve yet to hear a story where the outcome wasn’t a waste of time and money.

I have found it to be more helpful to be in memberships with those who have the solid experience of being behind multiple accounts and varying budgets and getting feedback during their office hours. Sure, I pay for it but it’s absolutely worth it.

Theres a min threshhold for each channel to get assigned a rep usually. At reddit its $50k. Or was.

    Otherwise you are self service.
