I see very little engagement in groups; mainly it’s just people posting content or sharing links—but very few reactions or comments.

Nah. Generally groups are just people posting their own content in hopes that others will click on it but never actually reading it. As such, they’re full of crap. There’s no actual conversation or engagement.

This method works if you use the group as a platform to network with others rather than just spam links to your content which not a lot of people will click on anyway.

Very little. There are some big groups out there that might still produce some decent results but for the most part, Groups are now a linkstorm wasteland. A couple of my clients still have a group but they ignore them for the most part, in favor of focusing on their main page.

Ensure that you are joining groups that are relevant to your industry, interests, or target audience. Participating in groups where your target audience is active can increase the likelihood of engagement and meaningful discussions.

Personally, naah. Too quiet & spammy. I’ve had to leave many.

I think there might be hope for new groups, but old groups are quite messy
