Have you ever found leads/business partners from social media? What was your approach for searching for them? Or you just found them randomly?

social media’s been a goldmine for me.. LinkedIn’s great for B2B leads – just gotta engage genuinely, not spam.. Twitter’s surprisingly good for connecting with potential partners.. Instagram works wonders if you’re in a visual field.. Key is to be active, share valuable content, and actually interact.. It’s not instant, but it pays off….

Personally, IG DM has worked wonders for me. Every single connection I have in my industry today – and these are good connections – started with a DM that provided value. I’m involved in the automotive space, so I would DM supercar owners in my city by finding them on local car pages, or local bodyshops that would post customer cars, and ask them if I can shoot pictures of their cars for free. Most never reply, but all it takes is 1 good referral, 3 years alter I’m pretty well known in the industry
