    Theory 1: I’d bet that nothing is ever deleted and that by deleting them, they become worth more. If you become marginally famous, like small town councilor, they could get looked at again.
    Theory 2: Not even Google can afford the electricity anymore to keep everything going. There’s so much trash on the internet that it’s a waste of money and labour to keep it properly backed up.

    Likely in the database. You can always download everything in the settings and then request deletion there.

    They are not deleted.

    I deleted a tweet yesterday, but the original image is still sitting in my Twitter Media Studio.

    Nothing is completely deleted from the internet, just so you know. The NSA, for example, keeps everyone’s selfies and naked/dirty pics for 2 yrs. Just an fyi.
