Yes bigger company need an SEO expert. I Perform daily audit, keyword research and try to acquire backlinks from high quality sites 9 hrs per day 5 day in a week

It could be, because bigger companies have bigger teams. You will be managing as much as doing. There are Devs, managers, other marketers, etc all doing their jobs and they need SEO input and guidance.
That is on top of the monitoring, reporting, researching, planning and actual doing.

I would say that ONLY big companies can afford real SEO. Everything that ppl are selling to the small business usually… meh.
And it’s not JUST an 8 hours 5 days work for 1 person – depends on the company, of course, but it’s a lot of work for as many ppl as you can have.
