Video game character in username, is it safe to use?

For context, I'm a big fan of Yoshi and I have a Yoshi costume I use to make silly videos on Instagram. No monetization or money being made, I just want to cosplay my favorite character doing fun things. My username on Instagram is "thedinosauryoshi" and I'm not sure if that's alright for me to use. I know how Nintendo is with people using their intellectual properties and I hope my username isn't grounds for a cease and desist.

I am sure I read somewhere that Nintendo don’t permit any use of its characters including fan art or cosplaying regardless of monetisation – whether that is true I can’t seem to find it now.

Technically I guess it is a copyright infringement and you can be sued however I genuinely cannot see Nintendo suing a fan over cosplaying and having fun if you’re making 0 profit & are clear that Nintendo own the character in your bio.

It’s not the same as you making T-shirts with their characters and selling them, you’re just having fun and realistically advertising for them.

The chance isn’t 0% but equally it would be ridiculous for them to do this.
