Cocoon App Shutting down. Strategies to export data?

Our family used it quite frequently through the pandemic. The app’s ability to do impromptu video calls with family members was especially special.

And the unfortunate thing is they don’t give us a proper export of our data.
This is what they have notified users with:
Hi there,
You requested a link to download your Cocoon data. To better handle the volume of requests we received since announcing the app’s shutdown, we decided to do a quick re-factor of our system for exporting data, and apologize for the delay.
By next week, you’ll receive another email with a URL to download a zip file. It will include all media uploaded from your account, and all posts sent (from your account only) into all of your Cocoons, in a machine-readable format.
We will keep the app live for a few more days so that the data export link remains accessible, and release an app update shortly reminding everyone of the shut down. Once the app goes dark, all user data will be permanently deleted from our servers.
Thank you for your support, and apologies again for the delay. Stay tuned for your personalized link next week.
