Can someone please recommend an app where I can show my manager how the posts will look like on IG?
Posted by seohelper on June 2, 2021 at 2:28 pmHi!
I need to ace my final round of internship application to get accepted and my boss asked me to create 5 social media posts for their organization and show them how they will look like. I am looking for a program where I can show my finished posts. Specifically, I am wondering if there is a program that can show my post with all Instagram features including “swipe” (multiple pictures in one post).
Thank you!

EDIT: Thank you everyone for your support!!!!

GuestJune 2, 2021 at 2:32 pmJust make a fake private account for this purpose only.

GuestJune 2, 2021 at 2:39 pmI did exactly this for an internship and created a fake Instagram profile. It was private when I was working on it, but I made it a public account for the week after sending the link. (Don’t name the account after the brand due to legality. I had my companies legal department come after me for naming the profile CompanyNameProject1.) If it’s a ‘cool’ company name it something like ‘HireYourNameReddit’ or ‘YourNameWantsAJob’ etc.

GuestJune 2, 2021 at 3:15 pmIn the fb publishing tools (or the old “pages” app), it’d show you a preview of exactly how the post would look before you posted it. I use it to check how words/emoji’s look and feel before posting, but especially to check the way the sentences are laid out, with words and new lines etc.
It doesnt have all the swipey things though, just kind of a static “how this’ll look if you post” preview.

GuestJune 2, 2021 at 3:33 pmCreate an IG account, submit a post using creative and copy you want to show, then right click on the page and select “inspect element.” Ctrl+F and find the page name in the code. Double click and erase the page name and type in the company name you want to see. Then hit enter and screenshot.

GuestJune 2, 2021 at 3:54 pmCreate a dummy account with a random name – not brand / company related and then
Save the posts as Drafts – that way they won’t publish and you can still preview them in the native IG grid

GuestJune 2, 2021 at 4:06 pmYou can try the Preview app or Planoly. Both are good options and has a ton of other features like scheduling and hashtag research but both have limited free features so there might be some limitations

GuestJune 2, 2021 at 4:07 pmThere’s a app on Android (not sure about iOS) called feed preview which lets you arrange posts.
Also later.com is a social media scheduling app that shows a grid where you can rearrange posts!

GuestJune 2, 2021 at 8:28 pmMy work uses Planable as it’s one of the few that will include post text in the preview. Works great for collaborating on small teams (you have to pay per person past a certain point, I want to say it’s 5).
