  Can my friend get his YouTube account terminated for adding tons of tags in the description?

  So basically, my friend spammed tags in all of his videos’ descriptions. Just recently he checked the terms of service and realised it was against the rules. He’s getting really stressed out about it because he has over 2k subs and has made over 300 videos, which he would have to edit the description for all of them. What should he do?

  Yes! I have a channel with 130k now, but my most popular videos (1mil+ views) were taken down at around 35k. At the time I was partnered with an outside company which helped me get the videos back up. I think they contacted YouTube to resolve the issue, as creator claims I made had no effect.

  Just in case I’d recommend he downloads all the videos for backup.

  Edit the description. Add them in the tags. Backup all the videos and turn the most viewed ones into private for a bit.
