  • Can a social media platform remove a post that damages a person’s reputation?

Suppose someone on social media doesn't like another person on that platform. As a result, they post a video, or other content that will damage that person's reputation. My two question are: First, should the platform remove the post to prevent any damage from escalation? Second, if the platform removes the post, can it be held liable for obstruction of justice?

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

Unless the video is against TOS the platforms should not remove content.
If the platform removes the post, why should they be liable? For what? Their platform, their rules.

This is a civil matter between the two people that don’t like each other.
