Can a Pillar Page just be a page with all articles?
Over the past few days I’ve been working on a plan to organize my website’s content a little bit better and I want to create pillar pages for some of the main topics on our site.
It’s my understanding that a pillar page is typically a blog post or an article that links out to articles that are subtopics of that pillar page. Currently, we do have a page that lists out all articles that are related to a topic- but it’s just that. A list of all the content, but it isn’t linked out from the pillar page in a succint and organized way. I’ve gotten some pushback because our Content Manager believes this laundry list of articles is the same thing as a Pillar Page. What can I do to paint the picture that having a Pillar Page on a general topic that links out to our sub topics will provide us value when it comes to SEO?
