    Hey community,

So I’m from B2B with limited experience in community building. But it totally seems like the right path to be interested in

I made some real friends in my life online through communities: Musician gear, Philosophy, Software Architecture

I think the most important thing about any community is to make PEOPLE TALK and move it from stranger to A FRIEND

Why do people talk in communities? I have listed some observations for public criticism and additions

    1. People ask questions because it feels like a good place to receive a fast reply (Any product community, Telegram groups especially great)
    2. There is some kind of mechanics to make money out of participating (Web 3.0 stuff, get a chance to win a free iPhone, etc)
    3. Actually being hyped about a topic to discuss on a deep personal level (Narrow topic forums, Reddit)
    4. Professional communities (Groups on Facebook, LinkedIn, also Reddit)

    Can we talk about this?

I would also add closed group communities that are formed through WOM
