Bidding system for Back Friday Search Campaigns

Hello! What bidding systems would you use for Black Friday search campaigns?

I don’t want the system to think, I want it to start working immediately when I activate it.

Stick with what you’ve got. If you want to spend more you can increase budgets. If you want to take a lower ROAS in exchange for volume you should lower your tROAS.

You can also use a seasonality adjustment if your sale will be less than 2 weeks: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9352512?hl=en

This is not possible. Any campaign launched on any ad platform is going to need time to think. All ad platform use past data to help run the campaign. Unless you want to bid on Black Friday + Product I Sell keywords, which would likely not do well anyways. Just use the campaigns you have and add in Black Friday ad copy to those current campaign.

What makes data worse around Black Friday is not all data is “real time”, data is already delayed 3+ hours most of the time and it gets worse during this time of year as there is to much data for Google to any platform to process.

Maximize conversions and maximize conversion volume will typically spend the most. You could set it on a portfolio bidding strategy by itself, set it on maximize conversion value without a tROAS and then maybe give it a bid cap under advanced settings to keep bids from being really high (if that’s an issue)
