Best way to structure website with many similar pages
Hi all,
So I have several pages with different travel itineraries. However, they do overlap quite significantly, e.g. the 10 day itinerary includes all the same legs as the 7 day itinerary plus an extra 3 days that are not in the 7 day itineraries. To avoid duplicates, I decided to put everything in 1 page only and just make invisible those parts of the itinerary that are irrelevant for that particular itinerary. For example, both the 10 day and the 7 day itineraries link to the same page, but if you click on the 10 day itinerary (from the home page) you get the page with all legs visible whereas if you click on the 7 day itinerary, you get the same page but with only part of it visible. At first this seemed like a good solution, but now I'm worried this would be considered doorway spamming? I know it's not a problem for only two itineraries, but eventually I will have hundreds of itineraries, many of which will have overlapping content. In particular, smaller (shorter) itineraries will overlap with the 'grand' itinerary, which will have all legs on it. Any suggestions on the best way to structure this kind of content? Thanks heaps!
