Best way to get Google to crawl pages that no longer exist?
So I have a client that had 100s of 410 pages which had high quality links, some of these pages are 10 years old.
I’ve redirected all the 410 pages to the updated pages on their current website, however, my concern is that as the 410 pages are so old Google will never crawl them to know that they have been redirected as such won’t pass PageRank.
I know that Google is also unlikely to crawl a large amount of the URLs which are linking to the 410 pages, but that is completely out of my hand.
Would the best option to be to upload a blog post with the compile list and submit it for crawling? Or something similar.

Sorry unless im missing something here, im not sure why you’re not submitting a sitemap.
