  • Best way to create unified “shorts” for all the platforms at once

If I wanna produce short vertical video content for TikTok, YT shorts & Insta Reels, what is the best way?

I tried making the content in TikTok first (Because it shows the username handle watermark automatically so I am known if it goes viral). But then I guess the size of YT shorts for example is a little different so the outcome is a weirdly cropped. Also, I feel the engagement is limited, not sure ofbthe reason but could it be that YouTube can detect TikTok videos and limit their exposure?

I am curious to see different strategies from you guys.

P.S. This is a professional discussion. I’ve tried to choose this flair on my phone but it didn’t let me post it there so I choose the “Non-professional Discussion” flair so I could post it. I guess it is a bug that caused my last post to be deleted.

Hi! Canva has a quick and easy resize feature with their pro account. It’s not automated but you can select the “copy and resize” feature.

Yes, it could be true that YouTube’s AI detects that it’s a tiktok video by the captions. Always best to use native captions depending on the platform.

I would suggest not showing the tik tok watermark. Instagram has openly said that they will knock down exposure on videos with competitors watermarks. If your account name is the same across all platforms, then you could add a text element with your account name.

Editing on Instagram is not that bad at all.. tap on the “save” button before posting and you should be good (note: that adding music from IG can remove all audio when downloading. Using igram.io for removing IG watermarks and snaptik.com for removing TT watermarks works phenomenally)

Edit: if you want to keep the TT edit route, I suggest keep editing via TT and use the snaptik website to remove the watermark so you can post on other platforms.

CapCut, then add text natively on each platform (I know, it’s a pain in the a**).

You can use third party download tools and download the content without the watermark and then just republish elsewhere.

Or you can create original content in platforms like canva then upload to the respective platforms
