It highly depends on your interest in the position, your confidence in the companies success, and your current situation financially. Ultimately if you are taking any job, you would expect to have some sort of salary for your work. If you are considering taking a smaller salary or no salary at all, then you are essentially putting in some form of sweat equity and you should be compensated for that down the road, ideally in a specified way and timeline.
If you are simply asking about the salary expectations, then I would search for average salaries for social media managers in the area the business operates and your location, to get an idea of the range you should be asking for.
