Best social media for business?
Posted by Mamaprenuer111 on September 16, 2024 at 8:26 pmHi everyone!
I’m a digital and affiliate marketer and have spend my first year pretty much only posting on instagram.
What would be your next suggestion for a platform to try? I’ve recently started utilizing Facebook groups a bit and made a few other accounts…
but I find it best to choose one and focus on that for a while before moving onto the next so I’m curious if you guys say TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest or what would be your next suggestion? thank you so much!

GuestSeptember 16, 2024 at 9:52 pmHi hi, I do affiliate and digital marketing too.
Here’s my thoughts, it depends on your format. If you want to stick to short form like IG posts, then repurpose them on TikTok.
If you can dive into longer form content do YouTube. Buyers are more often on YouTube as they know their problem and are actively looking for a solution.
Fb groups are great too, but be cautious about self promotion and slapping links in the comments. Encourage ppl to msg you and then send them to your lead magnet page

GuestSeptember 17, 2024 at 4:48 amDepend on who’s your audience. If you’re focusing on millennials and gen x, yeah Facebook group is a pretty solid option. For gen z, Instagram, X, Tiktok, Youtube are all the basic ones to start off with.

GuestSeptember 17, 2024 at 6:08 amYou can use the Meta Business Suite tool to automatically post your Instagram content on Facebook as well, and take advantage of the audience there with minimal effort.
Then, depending on your business, LinkedIn is a good option to showcase your projects and reach potential clients.
If you want a younger audience to know about your business, TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts are the ideal formats to reach a much younger audience.

GuestSeptember 17, 2024 at 8:55 amIt depends on your product or service and where your audiences are located. You’ll have to test all the social media platforms to find where your audiences/customers exists. For affiliate Instgram and Pinterest are the best.

GuestSeptember 17, 2024 at 12:52 pmI’d suggest focusing on TikTok or YouTube.
You can create educational, entertaining, or informative videos. TikTok is great for short, snappy content with a big potential reach, while YouTube is better for longer, more in-depth content that can build authority over time.
Both platforms can work well for affiliate marketing, depending on how you deliver your message.

GuestSeptember 17, 2024 at 2:24 pmIf you’re looking to diversify, TikTok and YouTube are great choices. TikTok’s algorithm is awesome for organic reach, and YouTube is fantastic for long-term content and SEO. Pinterest can drive traffic, especially if you’re in a niche that thrives on visuals. It’s smart to focus on one at a time, so pick based on where your audience is and what kind of content you enjoy creating. Good luck.

GuestSeptember 17, 2024 at 7:24 pmBest social media for businesses is definitely LinkedIn in my opinion.
I‘m a social media manager that has experience in TikTok, Instagram, FB Ads (if that counts), YouTube and LinkedIn.
Be everywhere, but you might get most of your success on LinkedIn.
What‘s your goal with your business?

GuestSeptember 18, 2024 at 6:25 pmHonestly building out a full brand ecosystem is the way to do it.
I would start on TikTok or Meta Platforms.
Sign up for all the platforms, but just focus on one starting out. Create and post tons of content. Once you start to gain traction, take your best posts and repurpose them on another platform.
If you start with Instagram, go to TikTok and vice versa.
Once you’ve got that up and going, start playing around with long form content for YouTube & TikTok.
Then take your long form content and chop it up so you have tons of quick content for all your other platforms.
Keep slowly expanding your reach with different platforms.
Make sure that all of your platforms point to something else. A TikTok points to a YouTube video then that YouTube video points to you website or email list, your emails point back to your website or a good Instagram post or secret content to keep people on your email list highly engaged 💖
Hope this helps!
