GuestNovember 24, 2022 at 1:46 pmThis is a difficult but simple question to answer. Let’s start with the easy bit: A key component of your success is to have a product that many people want and need. Most shoppers prefer to buy from shops with a product rating of 4 stars or higher, so you need to try to get your rating up as much as possible. If you’re not getting good results on your ads, you might want to lower your price. If you’re new to ads, you should try to get at least one positive review to build trust. Infact, 44% of customers are more likely to try out a new shop when it has 4 star or above rating. The next step is to try some of the tricks that we mentioned in our post on ” How to get high quality traffic on Shopify “.

GuestNovember 24, 2022 at 3:05 pmStay away from the big three:
Conductor
BrightEdge
SEO Clarity
Extremely overpriced shiny tools – they make pretty graphs and that’s just about it.
AHREFs/SEMrush are pretty similar – each SEO has their own reasons for liking one over the other but for the price you could get both if you want
Screaming Frog is an absolute must – Sitebulb is pretty sweet too. Same tools, just different UX and reporting. If you can afford it I would recommend Botify. It crawls your site like the other two, but also pulls in analytics (Adobe/Google), GSC, and server logs and bundles it all together to provide a very solid analysis of when, where, and how often Google crawls your site and how that influences discovery, crawling, indexing, and ranking.
I started playing around with Sistrix – similar to SEMrush/AHREFs, but very low cost and they provide overall visibility and you can track against your competition. I know the other two have that but you have to upgrade to get that data.

Google Search Console is my best guess.

GuestNovember 24, 2022 at 5:16 pmAlong with Google Search Console, I would say Semrush at the 2nd or 3rd pricing tier. It’s a great suite of tools. I don’t think there is a better value out there.

GuestNovember 24, 2022 at 5:45 pmFor a company, the best thing is a good workflow structure. But talking about the tools, there are many options depending on budget and purposes… Content making, page optimizing, backlink checking, etc. One tool can be great in backlinks, but not ok in SERP analysis, so you need to be ready for compromises.

GuestNovember 24, 2022 at 6:31 pmI used to use SEMRush but refuse to pay to help support Russia’s war via their taxes. All in for ahrefs now.
