ah man, good luck! im actually big into the moving niche, specifically LA with my affiliate site. SEO tips / courses for that niche are going to be the same as SEO tips / courses for any other niche…. But here’s my two cents – if youre just learning SEO, you are going to have precisely zero chance for ranking “moving company LA” given the competition levels… First and foremost, optimize your Google Business Profile. Then, learn SEO (no specific suggestions other than just googling free resources. some big trusted names that will have golden advice are Ahrefs, SEMrush, Hubspot, etc… if they ranked it on Google , they know what they’re talking about) Then, find hyper specific niches and go after ranking those first “Cheap moving companies southern LA” , “woman-owned moving companies Brentwood”, (all very hypothetical) …… main takeaway, you’ve got a long road ahead of you. Depending on your bandwidth / budget / goals, you might be better-served just getting your GBP reviews up and leveraging other channels like social, referrals, etc. to grow your business. Otherwise, you’re competing not just with big movers but also affiliate / top 10 type sites like moving dot com, hire a helper, and even Forbes (forbes will do anything for a buck, and theres lots of bucks in Moving, hence the competition)
