    Hi all,

I recently started a new position managing socials for an event venue with a large presence, and it has been managed by someone who did a good job managing it during COVID, but hasn’t been really optimized and could use some love before I start with a new approach.

What kind of checks and reports and optimizations should I be running? Fake follower checks, any certain tools I should be using, anything you guys have advice for taking over something and trying to reign it back in so you can start taking it in a new direction (at the request of the business, not just something I’m wanting to do). Part of me being hired is to basically assess the current state of things and come up with a new strategy to put in place. Free reign as far as I’ve been told.

Happy to answer any questions without revealing too much, obviously.

Basic info: Verified accounts with various amounts of followers on FB, Twitter, Instagram; well-known event location in the midwest, operated by local government, but no major restrictions to what we can and can’t do on socials (as far as gov’t is concerned). Large verified following due to long history with local hockey team, basketball, and concert tours. Please don’t ask about the business itself because I don’t want to get put in a weird position.

    Thanks everyone!
