Best Facebook Ads for a bad website? I just want a lot of calls. (i think)

The client’s website is, unfortunately, trash at converting. Not much content and doesn’t work well on mobile.

The business is a non-profit that helps people sign up for Health Insurance. You call between 9-5, and they guide you through the Insurance Marketplace website.

**What ad type would you guys suggest to get the most direct calls for $300mo?**

I’m thinking of targeting 40+ and only running the ad 9-5. I think that age range, is more likely to call for help. Some kind of “Operators Available Now” or “Help is Just a Call Away” call-to-action.

Thanks for any suggestions on my strategy.

You’d be better off at using a landing page service like Unbounce and just clone your customer info to one of their landing page templates. $300 budget is teeny tiny, so I’d run Max Clicks to start until you get some conversion data.

I know you said facebook ads, but with budget that low and a trash website maybe Google Ads campaign with phone calls goal and phone call extension is a better choice? You can just run it for mobile devices, demographic: I’d go even higher 55+, 9-5 and cover “how to sign up for health insurance” type of queries. In ad text just brief explanation why giving them a call is a good idea. You should get some results this way. Also, for experimental reasons you may try the same thing but with intelligent campaign aimed at phone calls.
