Hello everyone,
I’m pretty new to SEO, and I am trying to understand backlink building. Could someone give me some tips on how to start building backlinks for my product pages? -

You can start these following activities and link your product or service pages in that:-
1) Guest post – Highly recommended
2) Profile creations
3) Business listing
4) Posting on social media i.e. reddit, facebook, quora

Spend a few bucks a month buying guest posts and don’t try anything else. It’s stupid and will only get you in trouble

Going to put out a few tips that people will hate, but have last me over half a decade ranking on top keywords.

Reddit
Google Maps
Review sites (think Yelp, but for your niche)
LinkedIn
You want to guest post, give the owners a call or send a short, but nice email. Don’t use the word guest post. Then it comes down to how much you can pay for a good domains backlinks.
Profiles – again, Reddit is the easiest to manipulate, right ahead of twitter and FB. Insta isn’t worth your time. Traffic has a huge impact too even if the backlinks are social (there’s no follows and then there’s social links)
Depends on your budget, get a physical Regus office and have your GMB postcard sent there. You’ll be able to get friends and family to make fake reviews (over time)
Don’t post everything every day on socials. Invest in a VPN or just borrow other peoples devices to post links. Make sure you research the best times to post and use great post titles that are not clickbait, but interesting enough to reach the top. Otherwise, you’ll get your domain flagged and auto banned.
But, honestly, wrote content and have a good site, the backlinks will follow. You should focus on the foundation before deciding how the house should look or what ceiling tile colors to choose.

If your site is great, given proper exposure, links will come.

Here are my 3 tips:
1. Guest posting: Reach out to other site owners and try to publish some posts on their sites. You can always add some links to your site from there.
2. Try to get into 3-way exchanges. It pairs well with guest posting because you can include your link exchange partners in your Guest posts. And then try to get a link from another referring domain that your partner has.
3. Build blog content on your site that links to your product pages (people are usually more willing to include in-depth articles as opposed to product pages). As long as you connect them with internal linking the link juice will flow well.
