As strength limited due to missing extensions !

Posted by Express-End-1575 on August 1, 2024 at 2:42 am

I have pictures , I didn’t add site links because I’m doing max conversions to a landing page for a specific product so why tf would I want ppl clicking to other pages ? Ad strength was excellent before hand so I don’t understand, should I be concerned or ignore it?

Site links are best practice regardless. Even if you link to an about page or blog you should really add at least 4. It takes up more space on the SERP and you often see better CTRs. You can also add other extensions as well like callouts, structured snippets, phone number (if necessary), etc.

You’ll still want sitelinks, because of advertising space reasons. When sitelinks display, it gives you more space and it pushes competitors down.

Here’s a small trick for you: your sitelinks *can* all point towards the same landing page. Just add a parameter at the end of the Final URL.

e.g. Your usual ad final URL is http://www.landingpage.com/lp123

Your sitelink final URL can be http://www.landingpage.com/lp123?456

Extensions give users options. People like options, not being funneled down one page because that’s what you want. Let customers check out other parts of your site to help them shape a decision to spend with ya.

Extensions also make your larger on screen, for free. Why squander that opportunity?

I ran a $20 Google Ads campaign to find a tenant for my rental. Ad was larger than airbnbs for the words I was after. Extensions are powerful.
