Are you still on Twitter? Why or why not?

Yes, because now it’s kinda exciting

I didn’t delete my company’s account, but I pinned a post to the top asking to follow us on LinkedIn instead. We haven’t posted in two weeks.
Why?
(1) Twitter restoring the accounts of actual neo-Nazis and white supremacists, who were actually recommended to us in the “who to follow” module.
(2) Musk has been dangerously slandering ex-employees by name, including implying that the head of Trust & Safety (who tried to remain on post-acquisition) was likely a pedophile, based on his 2011 academic dissertation about LGBTQ youth and access to dating apps.
(3) Other ex-employees are suffering personal threats because Musk is releasing company emails and private deliberations.
(4) The deranged personal tweets, as owner of Twitter.
None of these align with my company’s values. As our head of marketing, I’ve decided to shut it down.
It’s not a great loss from a business perspective, TBH. The main reason for a brand like ours to be on Twitter was to engage with reporters, and now they’re bailing, too.

I’m pulling any content I may have previously posted on Twitter off of it. The “why” is obvious.

I’m just there to follow some works from artists who are only on twitter, I never post any, say anything, or do any activities related to the bird.

Yeah. Still the best social media app to me but I use it the least somehow lol
